Embark on a journey from Casablanca to Fes, passing through the historical cities of Rabat and Meknes. Admire the Old Kasbah of Udayas and Hassan Tower in Rabat, and the famous gate Bab El Mansour, Moulay Ismail Mausoleum, and Sahrij Souani in Meknes. Continue to Fes for an overnight stay in a hotel/Riad.
After breakfast, we’ll depart from Fes and make our way through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Along the way, we’ll visit the charming town of Ifrane, the cedar forest of Azrou, and the Berber villages in the beautiful Ziz Valley. As we reach the Erg Chebbi dunes, we’ll ride camels to reach our Berber Camp in Merzouga, where we’ll enjoy a beautiful sunset and traditional Berber music under the starry sky.
Wake up early to catch the sunrise and enjoy breakfast before heading to the Rissani Market (on market days). From there, we’ll pass through Berber villages and explore the beautiful Todra Gorge, a famous destination for rock climbers. After lunch, we’ll continue our journey to Boumalne Dades, where we’ll stay overnight at a hotel or riad.
Our final day will take us through the Rose Valley and Skoura palm grove to Ouarzazate, where we’ll visit the Kasbah Taourirte and film studios (optional). We’ll then head to Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the location of many famous films. Finally, we’ll cross the High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi N’tichka pass to reach Marrakech in the afternoon/evening, where our tour ends.
