Our first stop is in the stunning city of Ifrane, famously known as the “Moroccan Switzerland.” After that, we’ll continue to the famous cedar forest of Azrou where you can encounter playful monkeys and interact with them in their natural habitat. After exploring Todra Gorge, you will take a break for lunch before continuing your journey to Boumalne Dades. In the afternoon, you will arrive at Dades Valley, where you will spend the night in a comfortable hotel or riad. Today marks the final day of your epic Fes to Marrakech desert tour. We’ll start off by heading towards Marrakech, passing through some of Morocco’s most scenic spots such as Kalaat M’gouna, Rose Valley, and Skoura Palm Grove.
Our first stop will be at the historic Kasbah Taourirte and the nearby film studios in Ouarzazate, an optional visit for those interested. From there, we’ll make our way to Ait Benhaddou, one of the oldest and most famous kasbahs in Morocco. This UNESCO World Heritage site has been featured in many blockbuster movies including Gladiator, Obelix, the Mummy, the Jewel of the Nile, and Sahara with Penélope Cruz. You’ll have free time to grab lunch and explore the area.
After lunch, we’ll embark on the final leg of our journey, crossing the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi N’tichka, the highest road pass in Morocco at 2260 meters above sea level. Along the way, you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of the valleys, mountains, and nearby Berber villages.
